Mupirocin Ointment is a topical topical antibiotic drug, mostly used for skin infections caused by gram-positive cocci. It is indicated for skin infections caused by gram-positive cocci, such as primary skin infections such as impetigo, boils, folliculitis, and eczema co-infections, ulcer co-infections. It should not be used for large infections. When using this product, be careful to avoid the use of the eyes, nasal mucous membrane parts, for patients with combined moderate or severe renal disease and pregnant women with caution. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to mupirocin or other ointments containing polyethylene glycol. Local application of this product is generally no adverse reactions, occasionally see local burning sensation, stinging sensation and itching. Discontinuation of the drug is generally not required.
