Robots perform thoracic surgery

Minimally invasive surgery is the current development direction of surgery, and the same is true for thoracic surgery.        Since our department started robotic thoracic surgery in 2009, we have completed more than 40 cases of robotic thymus and thymoma resection, and gradually carried out robotic pleural biopsy, pulmonary herniorrhaphy, diaphragmatic hernia repair, lung lobectomy and lung wedge resection, marking our department is moving towards the direction of minimally invasive thoracic surgery!
