There are two incisions for cryptorchid surgery: the first one is located in the inguinal region, at the root of the thigh, 2 cm above the inguinal ligament, with its midpoint extending 4-6 cm down. Within this incision, the testis is revealed and traction is applied, and the testis is walked towards the underside of the scrotum to observe whether the length of the release is sufficient and whether it needs to be extended. The second site, located at the base of the scrotum, is about 1 cm in length. The purpose of this incision is to separate a gap between the scrotal skin and the meatus and to fix the descending testis within this gap to ensure that it can be observed and can be palpated and that, after closing the incision, the testis can be fixed in this area to prevent its retraction.
