Effects of D&B Eye Cream

Doxycycline ophthalmic ointment is a combination formulation whose main active ingredients include tobramycin and dexamethasone. Dexamethasone is a glucocorticoid that can be used to suppress inflammatory responses caused by various factors and may also delay wound healing, thus dexamethasone has anti-inflammatory effects. In general, it may reduce the body’s defenses against infection and is therefore often used in combination with antibiotics. Another ingredient in D&B eye ointment is tobramycin, an antibacterial agent with antibacterial activity against streptococci, staphylococci, pseudomonas aeruginosa, and E. coli. Based on the primary pharmacological action of these two ingredients, D&B Ophthalmic Ointment can be used primarily for inflammatory ocular lesions that respond to adrenocorticosteroids, as well as bacterial infections of the ocular surface, or in cases where there is a risk of infection. In short, this drug has anti-inflammatory and anti-infective properties.
