What’s wrong with children’s night sweats?

Children’s night sweats (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up) are caused by both physiological and pathological reasons. 1. Physiological reasons: children’s night sweating is normal. Children are pure yang body, heart yang qi exuberant, fast heartbeat during sleep, breathing slows down, the lungs can’t sink the heat generated by the heart oxygen sufficiently, so there will be night sweating, which is seen in the head sweating increased, manifested as night sweating. 2. Pathological causes: Night sweating in children’s sleep is mostly caused by yin deficiency and hyperactivity (deficiency of yin fluid and hyperactivity of yang energy). Insufficient yin fluid in the lower jiao leads to the inability of yang qi to hold on to it, and it floats up to the head and face, giving rise to five heart-heat (heat in the heart of the two hands and the heart of the two feet, and self-consciousness of the heart and chest), which will be accompanied by lethargy, fatigue and other manifestations. Chinese medicine treatment should be based on evidence-based treatment, and patients who are not feeling well are advised to go to a regular medical institution for consultation, and not to use medication on their own to avoid adverse reactions.
