How long does it take for celiac disease to heal?

How long it takes to cure celiac disease is related to a variety of factors such as the severity of the disease, whether the cause is removed, and whether effective treatment is carried out, and cannot be generalized. Celiac disease is related to a variety of factors such as H. pylori infection, medication and dietary factors, and stressful mental factors. Patients often present with pain in the upper abdomen, often vague, dull, distended, or burning pain. Celiac disease needs to pay attention to diet and eat less spicy and stimulating, cold, greasy and indigestible food. Those with H. pylori infection need anti-infection treatment, as well as medication to inhibit gastric acid secretion and protect the gastric mucosa, depending on the patient’s condition. With effective treatment, patients usually recover gradually in about 2-4 weeks, but some patients may take six months or even longer to heal, with individual differences. Continued development of gastric erosion may form gastric ulcers, which may then cause complications such as bleeding, perforation, pyloric obstruction, and cancer.
