2. Qi and blood deficiency: If the tongue is small or normal, with little fluid on the surface of the tongue, and the tongue is white, it is mostly a case of Qi deficiency. If the tongue is fat, with teeth marks on the edge of the tongue, and the moss is pale white, it is mostly a case of spleen yang deficiency.
