Interventional embolization has certain efficacy in treating lung cancer. Clinically, there are two kinds of interventional therapy for lung cancer, bronchial artery infusion chemotherapy and transbronchoscopic intervention. For advanced patients who have lost surgical indications and whose systemic chemotherapy is ineffective, bronchial artery perfusion chemoembolization can be used, which can alleviate patients’ symptoms and pain, and improve the quality of survival of advanced patients to a certain extent. In addition, transbronchoscopic intervention with chemotherapeutic drug embolization of the tumor in the bronchial tube can inhibit the growth of the tumor and alleviate the symptoms, and laser resection of the tumor with bronchoscopic access can also be used to prolong the survival period of the patient. Interventional therapy is often applied to patients with advanced stage of lung cancer. Interventional therapy can improve the patient’s symptoms and prolong the survival period, but it should be clear: interventional therapy can not cure lung cancer fundamentally, and the efficacy of interventional embolization varies from person to person, so it is recommended to choose the appropriate plan according to the condition under the guidance of physicians.
