Facial corticosteroid addiction dermatitis (FCAD) is a localized hormone dependence and rebound phenomenon that occurs after long-term unreasonable and irregular application of glucocorticoids on the face. As a common disfiguring skin disease, the treatment of FCAD has become a difficult problem. The current treatment method mainly relies on topical drugs such as pimecrolimus cream, tacrolimus cream, etc. Although the treatment has certain effect, but it has the defect of local irritation and the condition is easy to be repeated. How to consolidate the efficacy and avoid the recurrence of lesions is the main problem of existing treatment for FCAD. Treating FCAD with traditional methods is tricky. Red light combined with IPL intense light for hormone dependent dermatitis with treatment, and gradually transition to plant-based skin care products, instead of topical drugs, to achieve very good results .
