What to do with a bee sting

After being stung by a bee, it is usually enough to pull out the stinger and then clean the wound. After cleaning, it is important to observe the wound as well as the patient’s performance, and if there is any allergic symptom in case, it is necessary to seek medical treatment in time. Specific instructions are as follows:
1. There are barbs on the stinger of bees, which will be retained in the skin tissue after stinging, so be careful when pulling it out and do it all the way out. After pulling out the venomous stinger, apply iodine several times, and finally, it is best to use a fire pot to suck out the residual venom in the body.
2. The venom of bees is acidic, so you can use soapy water, 3% ammonia, 5%~10% sodium bicarbonate solution to wash the wound repeatedly, and after cleaning, you can use gauze moistened with iodine to apply wet compresses to the wound appropriately.
3. If anaphylaxis occurs, seek medical attention from the emergency department of the hospital in time. Rapidly establish intravenous access to improve systemic and local blood circulation; patients with respiratory distress should be given high-flow oxygen; laryngeal edema phenomenon is serious, but also need to cooperate with the doctor for tracheotomy surgery.
