There is no method that can completely eradicate gout.
Gout is a heterogeneous group of diseases caused by purine metabolism disorders and/or uric acid excretion disorders, which are clinically characterized by elevated serum uric acid, recurrent acute arthritis, gouty stones and joint deformities, uric acid renal calculi, glomerular, tubular, interstitial, and vascular renal lesions.
There is no method to completely eradicate gout. Gout and purine metabolism disorders or uric acid excretion disorders, essentially a metabolic disease, obesity, high purine diet, alcohol, strenuous exercise and sudden cold and other factors can increase the risk of its onset, generally through the adjustment of the dietary structure and medication to alleviate the condition of the purpose.
During gout attack, patients can take naproxen, indomethacin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and colchicine and other anti-inflammatory analgesic drugs to relieve the symptoms, and after the symptoms are relieved, they should also actively take probenecid, febuxostat and other uric acid-lowering medications to control the level of blood uric acid in the body.
