What causes a cloud in the right eye?

The patient’s right eye sees things as a cloud mostly refers to blurred vision, which is usually caused by vitreous clouding, keratitis and retinal detachment.
1. Vitreous clouding: when the patient’s right eye has clouding in the vitreous, these opaque objects are projected on the retina, which can cause the patient’s vision to be blurred, so the patient’s right eye will have the feeling of seeing things as a cloud.
2. Keratitis: If the cornea of the patient’s right eye is infected by bacteria, viruses, fungi and other pathogens to form keratitis, inflammatory secretions and inflammatory cells will invade the diseased cornea, so that the cornea will form gray-white clouding locally, which will lead to the patient’s right eye to see a cloudy performance.
3. Retinal detachment: If the retinal neuroepithelium and pigment epithelium are separated, i.e. retinal detachment, it can cause floating objects in front of the patient’s eyes, which can be manifested as a cloud in the right eye.
It is recommended that patients with monocular vision abnormalities consult a doctor to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
