What to do if the lining is too thin

Too thin an endometrium can lead to scanty menstrual flow or secondary amenorrhea, which can manifest as secondary infertility in patients who wish to have children. Thin endometrium can be mediated with medications, such as oral estrogen, such as Beamax 0.625mg per dose, which can be taken orally once a day for 3 months, and then monitored by ultrasound to see if there is an increase in the thickness of the endometrium. If the increase is not significant, the dose of estrogen can be increased to 2 tablets per day for 3 months, and if necessary, additional progestogens can be given during the second half of the menstrual period to cause cyclic shedding of the endometrium.
