Accuracy of breast puncture biopsy

The accuracy rate of breast puncture is as high as 99%. In breast puncture biopsy, a suspicious lesion of the breast is located under ultrasound, and then a hollow needle is inserted into the suspicious lesion of the breast to remove the diseased tissue for pathological examination, a process known as puncture biopsy. Nowadays, puncture needles are used with hollow needles, so the accuracy rate will be higher. In general, a clinician will do a mammogram if he or she suspects that the patient has a breast lump that is highly suspicious of malignancy; some patients will do a mammogram if they have a nodule that is irregularly shaped and close to malignancy during a breast ultrasound; some patients will do a mammogram if they have a mammogram that reveals tiny clusters of calcifications as the only manifestation. Breast puncture biopsy provides a good basis for early diagnosis and later treatment of breast cancer and is worthy of full promotion.
