Ovarian testing involves monitoring ovulation, usually starting on the 10th day of menstruation to monitor follicular development and whether or not there is mature ovulation. If necessary, blood is drawn in the morning on an empty stomach on days 3-5 of menstruation for hormonal endocrine testing. In addition, immunologic and chromosomal tests should be performed in conjunction with the corresponding signs and symptoms.
