A pregnancy that has not resulted in a child for many years is considered infertility. At this point, the doctor should be consulted and both the man and the woman should be examined. The man’s main semen check, check sperm vigor and quantity, the woman’s examination mainly includes the examination of fallopian tubes and ovaries. Tubal testing can be done 3-7 days after menstruation, and with no intercourse, with either a tubal fluid test or a tubalogram. Ovarian testing involves monitoring ovulation, usually starting on the 10th day of menstruation to monitor follicular development and whether or not there is mature ovulation. If necessary, blood is drawn in the morning on an empty stomach on days 3-5 of menstruation for hormonal endocrine testing. In addition, immunologic and chromosomal tests should be performed in conjunction with the corresponding signs and symptoms.
