What is mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream?

Mucopolysaccharide polysulfate cream has an antithrombotic effect by acting on the blood coagulation and fibrinolytic systems. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting various enzymes involved in catabolism and by affecting the prostaglandin and complement systems. It also promotes the regeneration of connective tissue by promoting the synthesis of mesenchymal cells and by restoring the ability of intercellular material to retain water. It is therefore used in the treatment of superficial phlebitis, varicose phlebitis, varicose surgery, post-sclerotherapy, and hematomas, contusions, swelling and edema, thrombophlebitis, and exudation caused by intravenous infusions and injections, and can inhibit scar formation and soften scars. Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfate Cream should not be applied directly to broken skin and open wounds, and avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes, and should not be applied simultaneously with other creams, ointments or topical sprays on the same site. Adverse reactions may occasionally be seen with localized skin or contact dermatitis. Due to the presence of parabens, Mucopolysaccharide Polysulfate Cream is not recommended for use during pregnancy or lactation, except under medical supervision. This product should be stored below 30°C, but not frozen, and should be consulted with a physician or pharmacist prior to use.
