Do you have to scrape the uterus if the endometrium is unevenly thickened?

Uneven thickening of the endometrium is not necessary to scrape the uterus, and the decision depends on the individual situation.
Uneven endometrial thickening may be caused by simple endometrial hyperplasia, endometritis, endometrial cancer or precancerous lesions.
For patients with uneven endometrial thickening, scraping is recommended, but not necessary. For example, patients with simple endometrial thickening, regular menstruation or previous scraping, treated with progesterone, thinning of endometrial lining after medicated scraping, and with better therapeutic effect can be treated without scraping for the time being.
If it is suspected that endometrial cancer or precancerous lesions cause uneven thickening of the endometrium, it is recommended to do scraping treatment, and also to do pathological laboratory tests for early diagnosis and early treatment.
If a woman finds any abnormality through examination, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time for treatment.
