Congenital glaucoma: an inherited eye disease that manifests as an autosomal recessive inheritance. It is present at birth. IOP elevation due to obstructed atrial aqueous drainage is not combined with other structural abnormalities of the eye, except for the manifestation of atrial angle abnormalities. Infantile glaucoma: less than 3 years old, the eye is obviously enlarged; 2. Juvenile glaucoma: more than 3 years old and less than 30 years old, the eye is usually not enlarged due to high intraocular pressure. Clinical manifestations: 1. The child often cries, has heavy photophobia, lacrimation and eyelid spasm 2. Cornea: foggy and cloudy, also known as aqueous eye. In severe cases, the posterior elastic layer is clouded with striae and fissures (Haab lines). 3.Eye enlargement, also known as bull’s eye. 4. High intraocular pressure and corresponding manifestations of high intraocular pressure. Treatment: Early detection and early treatment of congenital glaucoma is the key to good prognosis! 1.Medication to control IOP: long-term treatment is generally not advisable. 2, surgery: in principle, early surgery should be performed!
