Morning dry heaving and bleeding occurs in women of childbearing age and is a reaction to early pregnancy. Early pregnancy is followed by menopause and early pregnancy reaction. Early pregnancy reaction occurs in women who have stopped menstruating for about six weeks, and it starts with chills, dizziness, salivation, fatigue, drowsiness, lack of appetite, acidity, aversion to greasy food, as well as nausea, and morning sickness, which are the more common early pregnancy reactions. Some patients also have mood changes, mostly disappearing around 12 weeks after menopause. During dry heaving small blood vessels rupture in the mucous membranes of the throat as a result of the vomiting reaction, leading to bleeding, which is not heavy. If it is accompanied by other symptoms or heavy bleeding, the patient needs to go to the hospital for examination.
