The criteria for release from quarantine after a negative nucleic acid test varies among symptomatic patients with CKP infection. Generally, home isolation is required after conversion.
For mildly symptomatic cases, they can be released from quarantine after two consecutive negative nucleic acid tests for novel coronavirus. After release from quarantine, they have to continue to undergo home health management for 7 days, during which they need to wear masks, live in single rooms and avoid going out.
For general, severe, and critically ill hospitalized patients, they need to simultaneously meet the requirements of temperature returning to normal for more than 3 days, respiratory symptoms improving significantly, imaging of the lungs indicating significant improvement of acute exudative lesions, and two consecutive negative tests for novel coronavirus nucleic acid, then they can be discharged, and after discharge, they should continue to undergo home health monitoring for 7 days.
For specific cases, consult the local government disease control agency as required.
