Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a disorder that does not usually resolve on its own.
Irritable bowel syndrome is a common dysfunctional syndrome that manifests itself primarily in the gastrointestinal tract, with clinical symptoms including abdominal pain, bloating and discomfort, diarrhea, and constipation, which may occur intermittently. The condition usually has no obvious organic lesions to explain the presenting clinical symptoms.
The pathogenesis of the disease is not clear. It may be due to abnormalities in gastrointestinal dynamics, hypersensitivity of internal organs, inflammation of the intestinal tract, abnormalities in immune function, abnormalities in central sensory and neuroendocrine functions, and so on, and there may be psychosocial factors as well. That is why it is usually difficult to heal on its own.
If irritable bowel syndrome exists, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible, and be given appropriate examination and treatment measures under the guidance of the doctor.
