Do uremic patients have urine

Uremia belongs to the end stage of chronic kidney disease and the kidney function is already very weak. Patients with uremia partly have urine, and may even have normal urine output, and some may also have anuria.
Generally speaking, in the early stage of uremia, because the kidney function has not been completely lost, it can still help to excrete part of the urine. Some patients with uremia can also urinate on their own, and the daily urine output can be 400~500ml.
If it is the advanced stage of uremia, due to the complete loss of metabolic ability of the kidneys, there may be less than 100ml of urine per day, which is called anuria.
If the patient has tubular damage, the daily urine volume may be more than 1000ml. At this time, the amount of toxins in the urine is very small, and basically it is mainly drainage.
When uremia occurs, the patient should actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment to slow down the progress of the disease.
