What’s wrong with one eye of my contacts?

If you wear contacts with one eye that is particularly abrasive and has a distinct foreign body sensation, the following problems may exist: First, there may be damage to the contact lens edge of the contacts, mainly related to damage to the contact material caused by unsmooth skin on the fingers or overly long nails during the cleaning process. This contact can no longer be worn and needs to be replaced with a new one. Second, there is no damage to the pupil, but the pupil is not cleaned properly, and there are more protein deposits or foreign objects such as residual eyelashes left on it, which can cause a distinct foreign body sensation. Third, there may be damage to the corneal epithelium, which is related to corneal infection caused by wearing contacts for too long, poor cleaning or poor hygiene.
