Having physiologic pelvic fluid in pregnancy has no effect on fetal development. Pathologic pelvic effusion, on the other hand, may carry a risk of embryonic abruption or preeclampsia.
For women, if a small amount of physiologic pelvic fluid is detected during an ultrasound examination during pregnancy, it will not affect the growth and development of the fetus, and most of it will be self-absorbed over time.
It should be noted that some women may have pathologic pelvic effusion during pregnancy, especially if there is a lot of pelvic effusion, the gestational sac may have poor tone and not grow with the increase of gestational weeks, thus causing embryonic arrest and risk of preterm miscarriage.
It is recommended that women who are pregnant should take into account their own situation, so as to cooperate with the doctor and the corresponding treatment, and should not blindly use drugs to avoid adverse effects.
