Myopia lenses are concave lenses.
Myopia is one of the most common types of refractive error, usually due to a combination of genetic factors or poor eye habits, and is characterized by blurring of distant objects but clearing of near objects.
Patients with myopia can determine the exact degree of myopia through an optometry examination, which can then be corrected by wearing eyeglasses. Myopia lenses are concave lens lenses, which can make the light appear divergent, thus making the light enter the interior of the eye and then move the focal point to the back, focusing on the retina accurately, thus correcting the patient’s myopia and improving his or her eyesight.
Patients should also develop good eye habits in their normal life to stop myopia from growing.
