What is white tofu-like vaginal discharge?

White tofu-like vaginal discharge is usually a sign of Pseudomonas vaginalis, a vaginal inflammatory disease that is commonly caused by dysbiosis of the vaginal flora. When the vaginal environment changes, such as the long-term application of broad-spectrum antibiotics or diabetes mellitus, the pH of the vagina becomes suitable for the growth of bacteria, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa multiplies, resulting in Pseudomonas vaginalis, which is typically characterized by a bean curd-like discharge. The typical manifestation is a tofu-like discharge and itching of the vulva, which is worse at night. If such a discharge occurs, a laboratory test can be done and the diagnosis can be confirmed if mycelium and spores are found.
