Si Miao Tang is composed of Astragalus, Angelica sinensis, silver flower, licorice and other medicines, with the efficacy of supporting the uprightness and detoxification, clinically used in treating the symptoms of deficiency and toxicity, with boils spreading all over the body, recurring one after the other, and larger boils with dark red color and scanty pus; often accompanied by low-grade fever, agitation and thirst, or fatigue and weakness of limbs. Its contraindications and adverse reactions are not clear.
