Interventional treatment of congenital heart disease

The incidence of congenital heart disease (congenital heart disease) in China is about 0.7%, and about 150,000 new children with congenital heart disease are added every year, of which about 50% need interventional treatment. It is a minimally invasive therapy that can cure congenital heart disease without opening the chest, and it is also the most advanced therapy for this disease at home and abroad, which has gradually become the preferred choice for patients. The traditional treatment method for precardiac disease is surgery. This treatment method must be general anesthesia, open chest, extracorporeal circulation, cardiac arrest, repair …… trauma, high risk, long postoperative recovery time, and large surgical scar. Interventional treatment for precardiac disease is a treatment method that uses catheter interventional therapy under the guidance of X-rays and ultrasound to deliver a very thin catheter from a blood vessel to the heart defect site through vascular puncture, and then selects special equipment to block, expand or embolize the lesion, thus avoiding the risk of open chest, anesthesia, blood transfusion, etc., and does not leave a scar and does not affect future study and work.
