Levamlodipine besylate is a calcium antagonist antihypertensive drug that patients are advised to take daily after waking up in the morning for a good antihypertensive effect. Amlodipine benzoate has a direct vasodilating effect on vascular smooth muscle, thus providing an anti-hypertensive effect and also relieving angina pectoris. Amlodipine benzoate is a drug with a relatively long half-life and can be taken once daily. In general, it is sufficient to take it at a fixed time every day. Considering that most patients have a bimodal trend of high blood pressure, which is higher around 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, taking it in the morning after waking up can better achieve the purpose of lowering the blood pressure peak, which may cause the risk of blood pressure dropping at night if taken at night. The recommended use for patients with impaired liver function is the same as for all other calcium antagonists, and caution should be exercised when using this product in the presence of impaired liver function.
