Large amounts of this product may cause adverse reactions such as peptic ulcers, diabetes mellitus, Cushing-like syndrome symptoms, suppression of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, and concurrent infections. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to this product and adrenocorticotropic hormone analogs, and in those with fungal and viral infections. Note that patients taking prednisone acetate tablets for a long time should gradually reduce the dosage when discontinuing the drug, not suddenly stop the drug completely, and need to follow the doctor’s instructions to use the drug, so as not to cause adverse effects.
