Can urinary stones cause other pathologies?

1, The most common symptom of urinary stones is hematuria, which often intensifies after exercise. 2, Stones can also cause obstruction of the urinary tract, resulting in poor drainage of urine above the stones: in the case of kidney and ureteral stones, it may lead to hydronephrosis, which can lead to renal function impairment in severe cases, and in the case of bladder and urethral stones, it may lead to acute urinary retention. 3, due to poor drainage of urine and bacterial parasitism in the stone, it may cause urinary tract infection. In mild cases, it is asymptomatic bacteriuria, in severe cases, it may show symptoms of acute urinary tract infection such as urinary frequency, urinary urgency and pain, and in worse cases, it may show symptoms of acute pyelonephritis such as chills and high fever. 4, due to long-term stimulation of stones, repeated inflammatory reaction of the urinary tract mucosa may induce malignant transformation of mucosal cells, forming malignant tumors of the urinary tract.
