How to tell if it’s Achilles tendonitis or gout

You can distinguish whether the patient is suffering from Achilles tendonitis or gout from the causes and symptoms.
1. Etiology: Achilles tendonitis is a sterile inflammation that occurs in the Achilles tendon, it is a disease caused by prolonged and strenuous stretching exercise or due to overloading of the Achilles tendon, and patients with gout are more likely to suffer from Achilles tendonitis. 2. Symptoms: The main symptoms of Achilles tendonitis are Achilles tendon pain, swelling, redness, stiffness, nodules and indentation, pain occurs in the morning or after strenuous exercise, when the Achilles tendon is pulled when the pain aggravates the symptoms, the gout attack intermittent period is usually no obvious symptoms, often in the night suddenly attacked and caused by the patient’s intense joint pain and swelling.
