Endometrial cancer stage Ia belongs to early stage cancer, and recurrence and metastasis rarely occur after surgery. The exact occurrence and timing of recurrence and metastasis are related to many factors such as the patient’s physical condition and mentality. Clinically, stage Ia endometrial cancer represents tumor confined to uterine body, and Ia indicates tumor infiltration depth <1/2 muscle layer. Stage Ia is the lightest stage of endometrial cancer, and through active surgical treatment, after removal of the uterus, recurrence and metastasis rarely occur, and the 5-year survival rate can reach more than 90%. In case of stage 1a adenocarcinoma with low differentiation or special type of tumor, even if it is stage 1a, there are cases of easy recurrence and metastasis, most of which occur within 3 years after treatment, and 90% of patients occur within 5 years. To prolong the recurrence time after surgery, patients can choose the appropriate treatment according to their condition and it is also very important to keep a good attitude.
