The survival period of aortic sclerosis at the age of 50 is related to the degree of the disease, whether or not to receive scientific and regular treatment and other factors, and individual differences are large and cannot be generalized. Atherosclerosis refers to the thickening, hardening and loss of elasticity of the arterial walls and is also called atherosclerosis because of the yellow atheromatous appearance of the lipids accumulated in the arterial intima. Atherosclerosis is usually treated mainly with medication, which can be taken under the guidance of a doctor for anti-atherosclerosis, plaque stabilization, lipid lowering and improving the endothelial function of blood vessels, commonly used drugs such as bye aspirin and atorvastatin. Regular work and rest, avoiding strain and staying up late, quitting smoking and alcohol, exercising to lose weight, low salt and low fat diet, and eating more fresh vegetables and fruits are recommended in life. If patients at the age of 50 can receive the above treatment and life interventions, most of them have a better prognosis and a higher quality of life. In case of aortic sclerosis, regular coronary CT examinations are recommended to detect the degree of coronary artery stenosis and prevent the occurrence of acute myocardial infarction in combination with coronary interventions if necessary.
