Frequent urination, i.e., urinary frequency, refers to an increase in the number of times of urination per unit of time. Physiological factors mainly include drinking a lot of water, winter cold, nervousness, drinking a lot of water due to increased water intake, urine volume will also increase. Pathologic factors include inflammatory stimuli, decreased bladder capacity, diabetes mellitus, uremia, neurogenic dysuria, and polyuria in acute kidney injury.
