What happened to the shoulder pain when you breathe?

A gasping shoulder pain may be related to the following reasons: 1. It may be caused by a serious trauma to the shoulder. For example, if one shoulder is hit by direct violence, it may cause a fracture of the clavicle or scapula on that side, and the shoulder will be in a floating state, and the patient will pull the fracture end very seriously during deep inhalation, resulting in very severe pain. 2. It may be caused by a spine-related lesion. For example, if the thoracic spine is misaligned, it may cause irritation of the posterior branch of the spinal nerve, which in turn produces radiating pain in the back of the shoulder, and this pain may increase with the patient’s breathing movement. 3. It may be caused by lesions related to the thoracic outlet. For example, due to the presence of cervical ribs or other entrapment factors in this area, resulting in the compression of the blood vessels and nerves related to the thoracic outlet, it will produce significant pain in the shoulder. This type of pain can be significantly aggravated during deep inhalation of the patient due to increased compression.
