Poor kidneys may affect pregnancy. If a woman suffers from lupus nephritis or other chronic renal insufficiency, repeated failure of embryo implantation or repeated miscarriages after successful embryo implantation may occur. If renal insufficiency occurs after a successful pregnancy, gestational hypertension may occur on top of this, and repeated fluctuations of urinary protein may occur at this time, which may indicate that the blood flow in the placental area is obviously abnormal, thus inducing the further progression of gestational hypertension, or fetal growth restriction, placental hypoplasia, and so on, so bad kidneys may affect pregnancy.
