What is the manifestation of lumbar instability

Among them, lumbago and sciatica are the main symptoms of lumbar instability. (1) Soreness, swelling and weakness of the lumbar region: in addition to complaints of soreness, swelling and weakness of the lower lumbar region, patients feel that their lumbar region seems to be “broken”, especially after standing for a long time; (2) Fear of standing, preferring to rely on; (3) Acute attacks may occur; (4) Refusal to bear weight; (5) Pain varies in severity and duration, with radicular pain symptoms, and pain is often bilateral, with pain radiating from the lower lumbar region and buttocks to the groin and legs. The pain radiates from the lower back and buttocks to the groin and legs. In patients diagnosed with lumbar disc herniation, if the lumbar pain is repeatedly aggravated and accompanied by severe sciatica, it suggests the presence of concurrent lumbar instability.
