Pat Chun Granules is generally not recommended for people with excessive cough and phlegm, bloating and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), poor appetite, and loose stools (thin, unformed feces). Moreover, the drug contains Radix Codonopsis pilosulae, so it should not be used together with Veratrum or preparations containing Veratrum.
