Generally speaking, a simple cold body will not have spots on the face. Chinese medicine believes that spots on the face are mostly caused by emotional disorders, Chong Ren disorders (meaning the malfunctioning of the Chong and Ren veins, which leads to the blockage of the human body’s qi and blood), and so on. Spots on the face belong to the category of “face dust” in Chinese medicine, which is also called “sallow spot”, and its occurrence is related to the disorders of emotions and feelings, the disorders of Chong Ren, dietary disorders and chronic diseases. If the body is purely cold, normally there will be no spots on the face; however, if the body is cold with the above factors, there may be spots on the face. Cold body is generally characterized by fear of cold and warmth, and cooler limbs. People with long spots on face should be in good mood, keep optimism, avoid worrying and irritation; pay attention to the combination of work and rest, get enough sleep, avoid labor damage; avoid sun exposure. If there is any manifestation of long spots on the face, it is recommended to seek medical treatment in time.
