What does exercise fatigue mean?

Exercise fatigue is a temporary reduction in the body’s working capacity due to exercise itself, but it can be restored to normal after appropriate time of rest and adjustment, and is a process of complex and comprehensive changes in the body. Exercise fatigue is a fatigue state in which the work capacity decreases but can be restored to normal, which is a physiological protection mechanism. If a person is often in a situation of locomotor fatigue, a long time will lead to physical subhealth, which will cause physical and mental fatigue and health damage. The degree of exercise fatigue can be evaluated by the internal rate per unit time, blood lactate, maximum oxygen uptake and power output. In addition, locomotor fatigue can be divided into central fatigue and peripheral fatigue. Central fatigue refers to the lack of central nervous system transmission and energy transfer in the body, while peripheral fatigue refers to the decrease in peripheral muscle activity points and muscle contraction capacity.
