Difference between Mai Wei Di Huang Wan and Liu Wei Di Huang Wan



Mai Wei Di Huang Wan and Liu Wei Di Huang Wan are both yin tonic formulas, and their differences are mainly in drug composition, efficacy and main treatment.

1. Composition: Mai Wei Di Huang Wan consists of ripened rhubarb, cornelian cherry, dried yam, zedoary, moutan skin, Poria, maitake, and schizandra. Maitake Dihuang Pill does not contain maitake dong and schizandra.

The adverse reactions and contraindications of Maiwei Di Huang Wan are not clear. Liuwei Di Huang Wan has adverse reactions such as diarrhea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, etc. It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product and the ingredients contained in it.
