What does physiologic visualization mean?

Physiologic visualization means that the imaging manifestations are usually due to physiologic reasons and are not caused by disease. During the imaging examination, the normal tissue structure of the human body will also show corresponding imaging changes, and the imaging conclusions reached at this time are often physiological imaging, such as the endometrium for ultrasound examination may observe its cyclic changes, resulting in different results at different times, which is also a physiological change, and is generally not caused by disease, so the patient does not need to worry too much. For example, when patients undergo pelvic imaging, they may detect imaging changes in normal tissues and organs such as fallopian tubes, ovaries, uterus, ileum, colon, appendix, etc. This is normal physiological imaging. This is normal physiologic imaging and usually does not require special treatment if there are no abnormal lesions in the associated tissues. When physiologic findings are detected on examination, patients can follow the doctor’s instructions for further examination or other parts of the imaging examination to clarify the diagnosis.
