The “triangle eyes” are a sign of aging, either due to sagging of the upper eyelids or sagging of the eyebrows, but the clinical approach varies depending on the cause. Is there a way to lift the corners of the eyes without surgery? If you have a mild sagging brow, you may consider a temporal brow lift with Botox injections. For example, this way: 3 points per side, all located on the upper lateral side of the orbicularis muscle, to about 1cm of the edge of the orbital bone, subcutaneous injection, Botox injection 2.5 – 4U units per point, this direction is often unpredictable, for safety reasons, it is generally recommended to use a conservative dose for the first time, otherwise the lift may be very strong. However, the postoperative effect is still looked at: Left side: slightly drooping brow tips and slightly drooping outer corners of the eyes before injection. Right side: no redness or swelling at the injection site after local Botox injection. About a week after the injection, the effect of the drug began to appear, with the tips of the eyebrows slightly lifted and the outer corners of the eyes slightly lifted, showing a slightly younger appearance after the injection. Other than that, there are two clinical methods to get the corners of the eyes lifted – brow lift and blepharoplasty – with more definite results and a maintenance time that is not comparable to the injectable category. If you have these aging symptoms, consider a brow lift: 1. significant crow’s feet 2. sagging skin on the lower lid 3. sagging eyebrows or poorly shaped eyebrows 4. those who have recently received a forehead lift with poor results The reason: Brow lift surgery not only improves undesirable eyebrow shape or bad eyebrows and removes scars left by eyebrow washing, but also effectively prevents sagging eyebrows and effectively prevents aging; when performing brow lift surgery, by lifting the upper eyelid For those who are too old and have sagging upper eyelids, brow lift surgery can be used to improve their eyelids and restore their charming appearance. If you have sagging eyelids and more fat, you may consider an incisional blepharoplasty. How exactly is it done? The upper eyelid skin is incised through the pre-designed eyelid line, the orbicularis oculi muscle is separated to expose the lid plate, and a narrow strip of orbicularis oculi muscle and excess subcutaneous tissue is cut away. If there is too much fat, the orbital septum is opened, the eyelid is compressed to make the fat protrude and an appropriate amount is removed, then the fat is allowed to return to the orbital septum and electrocoagulation is performed to stop the bleeding. Finally, the upper edge of the eyelid incision is sutured to the levator aponeurosis at the upper edge of the lid.
