What’s wrong with the daily headache and sleepiness?

Daily headache and sleepiness may be a manifestation of ischemia and hypoxia in the brain, which can be clinically caused by a variety of diseases. Common diseases include cranial tumors, cerebrovascular diseases and central nervous system infections, mainly seen in encephalitis. If necessary, cranial CT, electroencephalogram and cerebrospinal fluid extraction for pathogenic examination should be performed to clarify the diagnosis. In case of cerebral insufficiency, patients can have different symptoms and signs, including hemiparesis, hemianesthesia, speech dysfunction, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, balance disorder and ataxia. In chronic cerebral insufficiency, it can cause ischemic and hypoxic encephalopathy, and patients can have headache and sleepiness, as well as physical signs and symptoms. If the patient’s blood pressure is severely elevated, it can cause hypertensive encephalopathy, which can lead to headache and drowsiness, and even increased intracranial pressure, which can lead to nausea and vomiting at the same time. If the patient has long time mental tension, stress and sleep disorder, it may also cause the above symptoms.
