The complications of advanced gastric cancer are as follows: 1. gastric pyloric obstruction may occur, which is manifested as abdominal distension and vomiting after eating; 2. some pancreatic tumors may cause pancreatic obstruction leading to inability to eat, and may also cause gastric bleeding; 3. chronic blood loss may easily lead to chronic anemia, and acute haemorrhage may easily lead to vomiting blood and black stool, which may endanger patients’ lives at any time; 4. with the progress of gastric tumors, tumors may rupture or perforate, leading to acute peritonitis; 6. It will lead to acute peritonitis; 5. Advanced stage of tumor will lead to general wasting, weakness, cachexia and other symptoms; 6. After advanced stage of gastric cancer, ascites can also appear, leading to abdominal distension; 7. Large amount of ascites can cause increase of intra-abdominal pressure, leading to dysfunction of intra-abdominal organs. If distant metastasis occurs, it will also cause distant organ symptoms, such as liver metastasis will cause general jaundice, lung metastasis will cause hemoptysis, brain metastasis will cause headache and other symptoms.
