Irregular morphology of gallbladder polyps is the description of the morphology of gallbladder polyps in ultrasonography, and other abnormal manifestations are needed to rule out the possibility of cancer. According to the pathology, gallbladder polyps are categorized as cholesterol polyps, inflammatory polyps, adenomyosis, adenomatous polyps, adenocarcinoma and so on. Generally, there is no clinical abnormality in gallbladder polyps, and most of them are detected by ultrasound examination during physical examination. If irregular shape of gallbladder polyps is found during ultrasound examination, it needs to be combined with other examinations to rule out the possibility of cancer. If there are such risk factors as irregular shape of gallbladder polyps, diameter over 1cm, single lesion with wide base, gradual enlargement of polyps, combination of gallbladder stones and thickening of gallbladder wall, it is necessary to rule out the possibility of cancer in time. If gallbladder polyps are simply irregular in shape, they can be followed up regularly, and the ultrasound examination should be repeated once every 6-12 months. If the above risk factors are combined with other risk factors and there are obvious clinical symptoms, timely surgical treatment is recommended, and laparoscopic cholecystectomy can be performed. When the pattern of gallbladder polyps is irregular, it is necessary to go to the hospital in time to check the specific cause and treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
