Star Shark D3 refers to vitamin D drops, full-term newborns are generally supplemented with 400 units per day, preterm newborns are supplemented with 400 to 1,000 units per day, generally 800 units per day, and the dosage is adjusted to 400 to 800 units per day as prescribed by the doctor after 3 months of age. Vitamin D drops contain 400 units of vitamin D3 per capsule, used for the prevention or treatment of vitamin D deficiency such as rickets. Prolonged overdose may lead to toxicity, allergic to this product, renal rickets, hyperphosphatemia, hypercalcemia, vitamin D hyperintensities prohibit this product. Full-term newborns are recommended to start taking vitamin D3 2 weeks after birth, 400 units per day. In case of preterm or low birth weight newborns it is recommended to start using it 1 week after birth, it can be supplemented with 400~1000 units per day, usually 800 units per day, and the dosage will be adjusted to 400~800 units per day as per doctor’s advice after 3 months.
