Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium Capsules Efficacy and Effects

Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium is a bactericidal antibiotic that is a combination of amoxicillin trihydrate and potassium clavulanate. It is clinically capable of killing a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with particular efficacy against drug-resistant strains that have developed lactamase, amoxicillin clavulanate potassium. Common sensitive bacteria include Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Diplococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Brucella, Haemophilus influenzae and so on. Clinically, it is mostly used for respiratory tract infections caused by sensitive bacteria, such as acute sinusitis, tonsils, otitis media and so on. In particular, Amoxicillin Clavulanate Potassium is recommended as a first-line drug in the clinical treatment guidelines for acute sinusitis. It can also be used for urinary tract infections and infections of the soft tissues of the skin, among others.
