H. pylori within 0-100 is normal, and recurrent stomach disorders are directly related to the presence of H. pylori infection in the stomach, requiring a breath test to help confirm the diagnosis of the disease. Among the breath tests, the carbon 14 breath test is one of the more common tests. With this test, a H. pylori value of less than 100 is considered normal, and the lower the value, the less H. pylori is present in the stomach. Some people who are pregnant and children may choose the carbon 13 breath test to avoid side effects during the test. The normal value of the carbon 13 breath test should be between 0 and 4. If the value exceeds 4, the patient is infected with H. pylori and needs to be treated promptly. For patients diagnosed with H. pylori infection, a combination of two antibiotics combined with acid-suppressing and mucosal-protective drugs should be the main treatment option, and the whole family should be treated together as much as possible.
